Buttle Lake Group Site, Strathcona Park

Living Forest RV Resort
July 19-23, 2026
Living Forest Oceanside Campground & RV Park is just south of Nanaimo, BC. We have sites reserved in the Group camp area (sites G1-G11). Although we reserve these 1-year in advance, each person must confirm their own reservation and pay a deposit directly to Living Forest.
These sites are full service (30-50 amp, water, sewer) surrounding the group area which includes covered picnic tables.
Activities:
- Sunday – Arrivals in afternoon
- Monday – Breakfast
- Tuesday –
- Wednesday –
- Daily – Happy Hour, 4pm BYOB
The remaining meals are on your own or with friends.
Cost: social $TBD per person + site (Living Forest)
Cowichan Bay Pier
September 4-7, 2026
We have access to flat open pier through connections of one of our members. Over the Labour Day weekend the manufacturing site is shutdown so we have have the area to ourselves, peacefully by the water.
This is dry camping (no power, water, or sewer). We set up the Club tents/shelter for a covered common area to host activities, eating, and socializing.
Attendees must be Family RV Association (FRVA) members or a guest of a FRVA member. FRVA was formally known as FMCA.
Activities:
- Friday – Arrivals after 2:30pm
- – Group dinner
- Saturday – General Meeting 10am
- – Movie 8pm
- Sunday – Breakfast
- Monday – Depart by 11am
- Daily – Happy Hour, 4pm BYOB

Buttle Lake Campground is part of BC Park’s in Strathcona Park near Comox, BC. The group campsite is booked by the club, so RSVP through Andy.
This is a new location for the Club.
